The doors wide open, the music from the years of the adults youth is playing...loudly. The vibrations in the floor are strong, either the floor is weak or the musics loud. The twins of the young mother persistently ask me if they can play with the dog, Cooper. Cooper always barks with newcomers...always. The kids cry easy, better not.
Now I am calm, quiet, thinking about my words. I think about what happened this year, also, what didn't happen. A man jumped from very high in the sky, Obama's in office again, Peter Parker/ Spider-Man suffers a fate worse than death, I started posting on DV, and I become a fan of Dr. Hunter S. Thompson. Many more things happened this year, those few were from the top of my head. I think back this year and remember all the great things that happened....so far, because high school has you (mostly me) on a different mindset of years. Once again, I find myself wondering why the hell I'm writing this. Now the "wonder" has left, it was only a matter of seconds.
So, think back, did you enjoy your year? Or is it still going?
Anyway, Happy New Year everyone! Oh, and the adults are dancing to "Lets Groove", it's great.
